Need a day away? To relax, have fun and nourish your soul?
Join us for a glorious day at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum to celebrate summer. The Arboretum, named by USA Today as “one of the ten great places to smell the flowers,” is the perfect place to enjoy a day of fun, friendship and inspiration.
Enjoy eating lunch on outdoor patio with friends. Stroll through the Arboretum’s beautiful gardens.
Along with the spectacular outdoor setting, you’ll be encouraged by inspiring messages to grow your faith, dynamic worship and powerful personal testimonies.
Gals of all ages love this popular annual event. Bring a girlfriend, your mom, sister, coworkers and neighbors. It’s a fun day to share!
Our theme this year is “Surprised by Joy!” Discover the secrets of joy-filled living—no matter what your circumstances.
Our featured speaker will be Jonna Fantz, pastor, poet and chocolate lover. Jonna’s funny, thought-provoking and very, very real. You’ll love her!
Joel Hanson will lead worship. Joel was the lead singer and guitarist for the Christian rock band PFR. He has collaborated with several national artists across the music industry, including Sara Groves, Geoff Moore and Phil Keaggy. We’re super excited to have him.
Betsy Lee, President of Prayer Ventures, will host the event. “I’m thrilled to invite you to enjoy this special day,” she says. “The Arboretum is at its best in June. I love being there with 300 of my closest friends!”
What would a girlfriend day be without a shopping spree? Find something special for yourself or a loved one at the Silent Auction—gift cards, professional services, original art, jewelry and more . . . Proceeds benefit Prayer Ventures.
Cost. Special group rate thru June 3: $25/person for 5 or more. Early bird rate for individuals $28 thru June 3; $35 after June 3. Reserve a box lunch ($10 extra) thru June 3. Scholarship help available.
