Prayer Ministry Training

Prayer Ventures offers workshops, classes and personal prayer appointments which allow you to receive healing prayer and learn how to pray for others.

Watch this 5-minute video to learn more about our vision to see EVERY church in the Twin Cities be equipped with a trained prayer team to pray for people in need. We are also training students to pray for their campuses and business people to pray for their workplaces.

These exciting, hands-on workshops are typically held on a Saturday morning, 9 – 11:30 am. They are highly interactive. Workshops include demonstrations, Q & A, prayer exercises and valuable resources to share with others. Some topics we’ve covered:

  • Healing Pain in the Past
  • Using God’s Word to Set People Free
  • Finding Hope Again: Overcoming
  • Depression
  • Spiritual Warfare & Prayer Ministry
  • Power of the Prophetic Word

Check our events page to learn about upcoming workshops.

Altar Team Training

Many churches are training prayer teams to pray one-on-one with people after worship services. This is an excellent way for anyone to experience God’s love in a real and personal way. These teams are often called “altar teams” because they stand at the front of the church near the altar. Prayer Ventures offers a 2-hour training specifically designed for Altar Teams.

“Training was filled with valuable information,” said one pastor. “Very practical … easy, relaxed atmosphere.”

Prayer Ministry Appointments

Prayer Ventures also offers personal prayer with trained prayer teams at our Eden Prairie Office, 15832 Venture Lane, Eden Prairie, MN 55344. These ministry sessions allow PV prayer teams to pray in depth for individuals or couples. The sessions are also opportunities for observational learning by our prayer interns.
